About Me

I first got a taste of photography in high school many moons ago and really enjoyed it. One of my photos even appeared in the school newspaper! I was so excited, and discovered that I had a little bit of talent in this art medium. Sadly, working a “real” job left very little room to pursue it.

This was true up until 2010 when I bought my first camera. Taking up photography as a creative outlet was always in the back of my mind, but I finally made the move to get into it because my father had unexpectedly passed away that year. It forced me to rethink what work/life balance is and even the pursuit of financial aspirations changed; I just wanted to capture moments. Fast forward to now, and I still enjoy taking photographs as much as I did back when I started. I believe that no matter what the conditions are, I will always get at least 1 usable photo if I’m going out photographing.

I really enjoy photographing the night sky, landscapes and cars, since those are my favorite subjects. I’ve also photographed a few events (birthdays, engagements, maternities, and parties). I take photography seriously and try not to share mediocre images with the world. But I still like to have fun with it and experiment, and I’m always learning something new nearly every time I go shoot.

When I’m not photographing, you might find me at a local track racing my car, learning to play golf, or just hanging out with some friends.

I can’t wait to go to my next photography session!
